As part of The Smithsonian’s renovation of the National Museum of American History, FireSign digital signage now welcomes guests with information on current events, retail locations and highlights from the collection of more than 3 million artifacts. For this installation, FireSign provided a turn-key solution including software, hardware, installation, content templates and schedule planning for eight display screens at four points on ther first and second floors.
“FireSign was born in 2000, when one of our museum clients asked for a flexible yet dynamic way to manage their visitor services facilities,” said Chris Lee, Vice President of Anode. “Just eight years later, we are extremely proud to now be a part of the world’s largest museum complex.”
